   Fixed

   • Fixed spike detection and removal when consecutive duplicate vertices hide an edge reversal, including duplicates created during spike removal.
   • Made is_convex ignore consecutive duplicate vertices, including repeated closing vertices, so they cannot hide concave turns or edge reversals.
   • Clarified simplification documentation: the helpers remove collinear and duplicate vertices, but do not check or resolve self-intersections.
   • Prevented FloatFlatContoursBuffer::simplify_contour from quantizing an unchanged buffer.
   • Fixed ShapeResource iterator counts after partial consumption.
   • Made integer containment handle empty contours without panicking.
   • Removed integer-division rounding from point-in-contour tests by comparing edge topology with a wide cross product.
   • Removed unnecessary unchecked indexing from shape resource iterators.
   • Corrected floating-point flat-buffer capacity allocation.
