⚠️ Breaking Change: ACP Bridge is now a native binary, not a Python package

The local ACP bridge (paca-acp-bridge — the daemon that connects an ACP-type agent to Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Goose, or a custom ACP server running on your own machine) has been rewritten from a Python package (distributed via PyPI, run with uvx) to a native Go binary distributed as GitHub Release assets.

As of this release, paca-acp-bridge is no longer published to PyPI. If you invoke it with uvx paca-acp-bridge run ..., uvx will keep resolving to the last version that was ever published there — it will not receive any future fixes or event-format updates, and it may eventually drift out of sync with your Paca server. Python 3.12+ and uv are no longer required at all.

How to migrate

1. Stop any currently running uvx paca-acp-bridge run ... process (Ctrl-C).
2. Install the new binary:

   curl -fsSL https://github.com/Paca-AI/paca/releases/latest/download/install-acp-bridge.sh | bash
