  Historically, GoReleaser would generate hackyish formulas that would install the pre-compiled binaries. This was the only way to do it for Linuxbrew at the time, but this is no longer true, and Casks should be used instead.

  ℹ️ See #607 for some more info behind this change.
  👉🏻 Below are the steps to embrace this change:

  • Run brew upgrade to let it auto-migrate from Formula to Cask
  • Run brew uninstall --formula --force tfswitch to cleanup Formula
  • Your tfswitch Homebrew installation now uses Cask instead of Formula
