Memory information per module: every populated DIMM with its slot, vendor, part number, size, speeds and voltage, plus the speed the memory actually runs at.
Upgrade notes
Memory contains a slice now (Devices), so Go code can no longer compare Memory values with == or use them as map keys. JSON output only gains new keys.memory.speed is the modules' rated speed, as before. The speed they run at is the new memory.configuredspeed, and the two often differ: DDR4-3200 modules running at 2400 or 2666, DDR5-4800 modules running at 6000 with EXPO.memory.size.New
memory.devices, one entry per populated module: locator, bank, vendor, model (part number), serial, size, type, formfactor, rank, speed, configuredspeed and voltage (in mV). Placeholder strings such as "Not Specified" and all-zero serial numbers are left out. Thanks to Haraguroicha for the idea (#12).memory.slots, the number of memory sockets, populated or not.memory.configuredspeed, the configured (running) speed of the first module.Fixes

One column per quarter.
Better ARM support: CPU vendor and model, and the OS architecture on every platform.
Better ARM support: CPU vendor and model, and the OS architecture on every platform.
Fixes
vendor_id and arm64 kernels no model name, so both were empty; they're now mapped from the CPU implementer and part numbers, as lscpu does. A big.LITTLE chip lists each core type, e.g. Cortex-A55/Cortex-A76 (Moses Narrow, #28).kernel.architecture is set on arm64, armhf, riscv64 and other architectures, and on musl distributions such as Alpine. Only the glibc amd64 and i386 loaders were recognized; the architecture now comes from the ELF header of /bin/sh. Names follow Debian's (amd64, arm64, armhf, ...).Build and testing

A larger release: a newer Go, a removable flag for storage, DDR5 memory types, TinyGo support, and fixes for memory corruption in network detection, malformed SMBIOS tables and 32-bit disk sizes. sysinfo also never writes machine ID files any more.
Upgrade notes
/etc/machine-id and /var/lib/dbus/machine-id over each other when one was missing or they differed. That filled an intentionally empty /etc/machine-id (image templates, systemd first boot), wrote into containers, and during systemd's first boot replaced a valid D-Bus machine ID with "uninitialized". It now reads the systemd machine ID, falls back to the D-Bus one, ignores "uninitialized", and changes nothing.cpu.threads counts all online CPUs, from /proc/cpuinfo. It came from runtime.NumCPU(), which counts only the CPUs the process may run on, so it was too low under taskset or a cpuset.storage[].removable is new and always present, false included (Bipin B Narayan).New
cpuid package builds with TinyGo (Moses Narrow).Fixes
SIOCETHTOOL ioctl copies back the whole struct ifreq, which the Go side declared too short.os-release./etc/os-release, /etc/sysconfig/clock and the udev database are no longer ignored.Documentation

sysinfo no longer creates a machine ID when the system has none.
Upgrade notes
/etc/machine-id and /var/lib/dbus/machine-id. A system without a machine ID is valid (containers, first boot, immutable images), and an inventory library shouldn't write files without telling anyone. node.machineid is now empty there (Itxaka).Build and testing
