Adds permissive wrapping of the fetch function while retaining the original typing of the wrapped library. This enables us to handle that there are slight variations between fetch implementations in node.
This change also removes the need for the triple-slash directive which polluted the global namespace with DOM typings. The new version also exports all the types defined in the library for good measure.
Many thanks to @alecmev for providing an excellent PR which made these changes possible.
Adds type definition for the defaults parameter in the fetchBuilder function. Previously it was mistakenly typed as object which was not very helpful.

It also adds a Triple-Slash Directive for TypeScript to add global definitions for Response etc. without having to add DOM as a dependency.

This version improves the TypeScript definition of the wrapping function.
This version improves the TypeScript definition of the wrapping function.
Previously it would simply expect a function with the same signature as the fetch function. Now it expects to receive the actual fetch function.
In addition, the argument names used by fetch-retry now corresponds to the argument names used by the official fetch API.
Many thanks to @vishalvijay for highlighting the issue and providing the PR to fix it.
This version removes the isomorphic-fetch dependency, and allows any fetch implementation to be extended with retry functionality.

The new version adds support for specifying retryDelay and onRetry as functions, while staying backwards compatible.
The new version adds support for specifying retryDelay and onRetry as functions, while staying backwards compatible.
This makes the library more flexible, and adds the possibility for users to implement exponential back-off instead of using a static retry interval. It also allows users to add custom logic on when to retry requests, or perform additional actions before a retry (for instance logging on retry attempts).
Many thanks to @thomsbg for making this release possible by contributing pull requests.
