Sorry we didn't call this out as a breaking change at the time — the engines field has now been corrected to >=12.20.0.

The ESM build (index.js) uses export syntax with "type": "module" and conditional exports (import/require), which need unflagged ESM support (Node.js 12.17+), and TypeScript 5.0 itself requires Node.js >=12.20 — so support for older Node versions (previously advertised as >=0.6.19) was effectively dropped here.
