   BetterDropDown is now generic (BetterDropDown ), so values can be int, enums, models, etc. Existing String code keeps working without changes.

   • BetterDropDown is now generic (BetterDropDown<T>), so values can be int, enums, models, etc. Existing String code keeps working without changes.
   • Menu opens upwards automatically when there is not enough space below the field.
   • Menu stays attached to the field while the page scrolls.
   • Keyboard support: Tab to focus, Enter / Space to open or close, Escape to close.
   • Dark mode support: default colors adapt to the current theme brightness.
   • Accessibility: the field is announced as a button and the selected item is marked as selected.
   • New customization options: enabled, borderRadius, fillColor, borderColor, focusedBorderColor, selectedItemColor, hoverColor, itemPadding, menuOffset, decoration, focusNode and onMenuStateChange.
   • DropdownMenuItem.enabled and DropdownMenuItem.onTap are now respected.
   • Open or close the menu from code with GlobalKey<BetterDropDownState<T>> (openMenu(), closeMenu(), isOpen).
   • Animated arrow icon that rotates while the menu is open.
   • Example app in example/ and a full widget test suite.

   Fixed

   • The style parameter was ignored. It now applies to the selected value, the hint and the menu items.
   • Crash when items is empty.
   • When value did not match any item, the first item was displayed. The hint is now shown instead.
   • The focused border was never shown. It now appears while the field is focused or the menu is open.
   • The menu OverlayEntry is now disposed properly.
   • A labelText in a custom decoration no longer floats above an empty field.
