Python 3.15 wheels. #112
PyPy 3.11 wheels.
Linux on RISC-V 64bit wheels. #106
pyemscripten wheels for Python 3.13 and 3.14. #129
_ffi.cdef.txt and _ffi.csrc.c using CFFI's cffi-gen-src tool and committed to the repository as _ffi.c. The build compiles that file directly and needs no CFFI at build time. Building from source requires CMake now. If none is found, it is downloaded automatically as part of the build. #173Python 3.9 support. #173
Python 3.13t wheels. Free-threading on 3.13 was always only experimental and both manylinux and cibuildwheel dropped support for it.
This release contains contributions from @gounthar, @hugovk, @hynek, @justeph, @ngoldbaum, and @RonnyPfannschmidt.
You can verify this release's artifact attestions using GitHub's CLI tool by downloading the sdist and wheel from PyPI and running:

$ gh attestation verify --owner hynek argon2-cffi-bindings-26.1.0-py3-none-any.whlFree-threading for Python 3.14!
Free-threading for Python 3.14!
Currently, it's a bit complicated, because it requires CFFI 2.0 which is only available as a pre-release.
Therefore, when installing with uv, it's necessary to pass like this:
$ uv pip install --prerelease=allow argon2-cffiFull changelog below!
