Lots has changed since the last release in 2021, including the release process itself for hyperopt, and many of hyperopt's dependencies. Hyperopt is now only tested with Python versions >= 3.10. The main thing for most users is that this release brings changes to improve compatibility with modern versions of numpy, simplifying installation.
If you find an issue, please get in touch however you like, including a new GH Issue or the auto-generated Discussion issue on the GH project.
